Supporting Youth-Led Initiatives for Greater Community Impact

The Graduate Producer Association (GPA) provides in-kind and logistical support to youth-led initiatives across localities — enabling them to implement impactful activities in peacebuilding, community cleaning, education, and environmental protection. We believe that empowering youth-driven action creates stronger, more resilient communities.

Empowering Youth and Turning Ideas into Productive Opportunities

Through GPA’s programs, we empower graduates and young people with entrepreneurship, agricultural innovation, and home-based industry skills — transforming their potential into sustainable livelihoods that promote economic resilience and community peace.

Promoting Mental Wellbeing and Psychological First Aid for Youth Initiatives

GPA strengthens the capacity of youth initiative members in Psychological First Aid (PFA) and psychosocial support, enabling them to cope with stress, trauma, and conflict-related challenges. These trainings empower young leaders to foster resilience and provide vital emotional support within their communities.

Youth Trauma Healing — A Journey Toward Inner Peace

The Graduate Producer Association (GPA) conducts Trauma Healing sessions for conflict-affected youth, helping them process painful experiences, regain self-confidence, and rebuild hope. Through interactive and therapeutic approaches, we foster emotional balance and inner peace, empowering young people to become positive agents of change in their communities.

Culture and Heritage as Bridges for Peace and Social Integration

GPA promotes social cohesion and peacebuilding through cultural festivals and youth-led events that celebrate Sudan’s rich heritage. By harnessing art, music, and traditional performances, we create inclusive spaces for dialogue, connection, and mutual respect—fostering unity through culture and creativity.

Supporting Children’s Mental Wellbeing for a Brighter, Resilient Future

GPA gives special attention to conflict-affected children through youth-led psychosocial support activities. These sessions aim to restore children’s sense of safety and belonging while nurturing positive expression, play, and social interaction in a supportive environment. Slider Image:

GPA promotes the principles of good governance and accountable leadership among youth through awareness, training, and civic engagement. We believe that lasting peace begins with fair, transparent institutions and leaders who embrace dialogue, tolerance, and active citizenship as foundations for a resilient and just society.

Digital Innovation — Empowering Youth for Sustainable Development and Peace

GPA empowers youth to harness technology and digital innovation as powerful tools for positive change. Through digital platforms, e-marketing training, and tech-based initiatives, we unlock youth potential to drive entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and lasting peace.

We are a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting communities and improving lives.

Who We Are

The Graduate Producer Association (GPA) is a youth-led, non-profit organization established in 2021 in North Darfur under the supervision of the National Graduate Employment Agency and the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. GPA envisions a community led by productive graduates who transform knowledge into action, energy into innovation, and ambition into real opportunities that foster peace and sustainable development. Through its programs, GPA empowers youth and graduates affected by conflict by promoting entrepreneurship, vocational training, agricultural innovation, psychosocial support, and community peacebuilding. The organization believes that lasting change begins when youth are at the center — as leaders, innovators, and partners in shaping their own future. With support from international partners such as DT Institute, USAID, and the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM), GPA has successfully built the capacities of hundreds of young people, created sustainable livelihood opportunities, and strengthened social cohesion across conflict-affected communities in Darfur.
